The Taylor Showcase began with an engaging Q&A Session with Billy Gill (Taylor’s District Sales Manager). There here provided attendees with answers to their burning questions on an assortment of acoustic-guitar topics such as tonewood, Taylor’s unique construction methods, and the nuances of their various guitar models. The casual and relaxed atmosphere allowed for engaging conversations, as Billy was able to make his way around our cosy store to interact with everyone on a personal level.
A Local Musical Affair
Later in the evening, the Swee Lee Local store came alive with captivating performances by Penang’s esteemed musicians – Wendy Tan, Jay Lim, Bowie Ong, and Kelvyn Yeang. Their soul-stirring performances also served to further demonstrate the versatility and tones of Taylor Guitars, captivating everyone around with their catchy tunes and musicianship.
The showcase culminated in a grand jam session where everyone took turns to share their musical talents – a fun spontaneous episode that highlighted the sense of community and camaraderie in Penang’s music scene. Even Syerleena Abdul Rashid, Member of Parliament (MP) for Bukit Bendera, was on hand for the festivities.
