What is the Heritage Custom Shop Build 1215 H-150?

A custom order devised by the guitar experts here at Swee Lee, the Heritage Custom Shop Build 1215 H-150 is not like any other guitar. It’s made to elevate the already iconic Custom Core H-150 to even greater heights.

With custom specifications and a whole assortment of meaningful changes, the Heritage Custom Shop Build 1215 H-150 is built upon countless refinements based on our customers’ feedback. Your feedback!

Heritage Custom Shop Build 1215 H-150: The Build

Heritage Custom Shop Build 1215 H-150 being played

Crafted by the most experienced artisans at their iconic 225 Parsons Street factory in Kalamazoo, this custom build features the finest curly maple top and an ultra-lightweight genuine mahogany back. However, we’ve gone even further by applying weight relief – making the guitar extra comfortable to play for long hours without sacrificing tone.

The ergonomic improvements don’t stop there! This Custom Shop Build 1215 H-150 features a special modified 50s C-shaped neck profile that’s truly comfortable on the hands. With a redesigned carve top, 17° headstock, and 4.5° neck angle, the Custom Core H-150 is optimised for excellent playability – be it fast or slow.

We’ve also heard feedback from our customers about wanting bigger frets. Based on this, the Heritage Custom Shop Build 1215 H-150 comes standard with Jumbo-sized frets – making this guitar an absolute dream to play.

Heritage Custom Shop Build 1215 H-150: The Gloss & Hardware

Heritage Custom Shop Build 1215 H-150 hard case

As with all great guitars, the Heritage Custom Shop Build 1215 H-150 features an immaculate nitrocellulose finish. We’ve specified a vintage gloss polish for both a subtle shine and a velvety smooth feel – a classy finish that allows this singlecut to age beautifully over time.

The headstock boasts a holly veneer and carries the ‘Heritage’ logo with a Twin Arrow inlay. Proprietary Heritage branded tuners that are custom laser-etched are also found on the back of the headstock. This along with Heritage’s specially-designed locking bridge and aluminium stopbar tailpiece allows increased sustain and resonance – allowing your notes to ring out and sing.

No expense has been spared for the safety of this guitar too. All Heritage Custom Shop Build 1215 H-150 guitars are accompanied by a Heritage Custom Shop hardshell case – complete with a certificate of authenticity and case candies.
