May Is Ibanez Month at Swee Lee

MAY IS “IBANEZ MONTH” AT SWEE LEE.

In honour of the visit by Tim Henson and Scott LePage from Polyphia on May 27th, we’re giving anyone who purchases an Ibanez Premium or Prestige guitar the chance to choose from one of 5 great Ibanez MINI pedals—FREE! And just so our 4-string friends don’t miss out, if they buy an Ibanez Premium or Prestige bass, they’ll get a free Ibanez TS9B Bass Tubescreamer (watch out, front two rows at any live gig!)

To add even more to this tempting offer, we’ve just taken delivery of some great new Ibanez Prestige guitars—including from the popular S Series—in some killer colours. And, for those who like their rock on the chunky side, we have a brand new 7-string RG Series guitar in Anvil Gray Burst. See? Even the colour sounds heavy!

But Ibanez isn’t the only guitar company to have sent us some cool new gear this week.

Fender American Professional Series

The Fender American Professional Series only came out this year, but it’s already a hit with guitar players everywhere. This week, we unboxed some of them in our favourite new colours: there’s a Jaguar and a P-bass in the stunning “Antique Olive” and a Jazzmaster in the brilliantly-named “Mystic Seafoam”. We also have some cool new Shawbucker Telecaster Deluxe models and a stunning Tele in natural wood that lets its beauty shine through!

Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition El Diablo Heavy Relic Stratocaster

We’ve talked about the devilish charms of the “El Diablo” before, but now it’s back in an even more appropriate colour—crimson red! With its heavy relic finish and awesome sound, this is one red devil that’s definitely worth getting closer to.

Strymon Sunset Dual Overdrive Pedal

Not content with launching their first overdrive pedal—the Riverside—Strymon are now doubling down with the incredible Sunset Dual Overdrive. This does exactly what it says on the box, giving you two different overdrives in one pedal. But the really cool thing is that within those two overdrives, there are 6 different settings. And they can be run separately or—for even more amazing tone combinations—together! This pedal has already got a lot of fans within Swee Lee’s guitar-playing staff. Why not try one and test the power of a dual overdrive for yourself?

As always, you can keep up to date with all our latest arrivals here. But there’s nothing quite like playing a new guitar (or pedal) yourself, so why not head down to your nearest Swee Lee showroom?
