Music at The Star Vista: Marian Carmel, Don & Oli and More

Last week Marian Carmel and co took the stage at the Atrium at The Star Vista with a performance that put a smile on all our faces.

Music has always been something that brought people together, but this time, the crowds kept their distance, and that didn’t stop them from having a good time. Marian belted out love songs from Alicia Keys, Justin Timberlake and even found time to sing some of her originals, like “Might Never Get Better”. She was joined on stage by Farhan on trumpet and backing vocals, and Vishaal on acoustic guitar.

Just two weeks before, the stage was graced once again by The Don & Oli Show, consisting of Oliver Ow on drums and Aaron Wisidagama on bass. This time, they had the silky vocals of Umar Sirhan, and a face familiar to most who follow us on social media, Shay, who dazzled everyone with his guitar solos.

Old school tunes from Michael Jackson, Bee Gees and Fleetwood Mac where just some of the numbers on their setlist and their energy filled the mall with good vibes we all could do with.

If you missed out on these performances, you can catch snippets of them on our Instagram highlights here. Meanwhile, check out some of the pictures from the performances.

We hold frequent musical performances at The Star Vista like these, and we’re looking forward to inviting you down for another when the situation improves, hopefully, sooner rather than later!
